Suncor Terra Nova

The Terra Nova oil field is located offshore approximately 350km southeast of Newfoundland. The Terra Nova Floating, Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel was the first designed in North America to withstand a harsh weather environment that features icebergs. At 18 stories high and almost 300 meters long it is one of the largest FPSO vessels ever built. The Terra Nova FPSO can store 960,000 barrels of oil and can accommodate up to 120 people while producing. Recently our services were required onboard the Terra Nova to machine an oval manway on a vessel that had been leaking. This was a unique project for us but we are looking forward to completing many more in the future.
